Product Marketing

Product marketing · Technical audiences · GTM enablement

I turn complex technical markets into content the field can actually use.

Not blog posts. Market intelligence programs that give sales, CS, and enablement a credible point of view to walk into the room with — and give buyers a reason to trust you before anyone pitches them.

What you actually get.

Four deliverables. Each one is a system that keeps producing after I hand it over.

01

Market intelligence programs

Recurring, credible coverage of the market your buyers live in — positioned as independent intelligence, not content marketing. That positioning is what earns permission with CIOs, CTOs, and CISOs.

Newsletters · podcasts · briefings · expert networks
02

Narrative and positioning

The story that makes a technical product legible to a buying committee. Written so a rep can say it out loud, and a skeptical practitioner still respects it.

Category narratives · launch messaging · product story
03

Field-ready enablement

Material sales, CS, and enablement actually open: what changed in the market this month, what customers are worried about, what to say when they raise it.

Field briefs · customer education · churn-risk talk tracks
04

Audience infrastructure

The plumbing that makes the above compound — segmentation, platform, editorial standards, analytics, and a workflow the team can run without me.

ESP migration · segmentation · editorial ops · reporting
Case study · Pluralsight

A GTM channel that didn’t exist twelve months earlier.

The problem

Pluralsight needed a way to reach senior technology decision-makers who were not going to respond to product marketing. No owned channel existed. No list, no platform, no editorial team.

What I built

A strategic content and market intelligence function from zero: hired and managed a four-person editorial team, launched three newsletters and a podcast across AI, cybersecurity, cloud, and workforce transformation, and migrated Mailchimp → Iterable with segmentation for an enterprise subscriber base.

What it did

10,000+ subscribers in under a year against a 5,000 goal, open rates above 65%, clicks above 6%. Sales, marketing, CS, and enablement used the work to open doors, inform customer conversations, reduce churn risk, and keep acquisition pipeline warm.

How the work runs.

Same five steps whether it’s a newsletter portfolio, a launch narrative, or an enablement program.

01Find the audience problemTalk to the field and the market before writing anything. The gap between what the company wants to say and what buyers are actually confused about is where the program lives.
02Pick a defensible positionIndependent intelligence beats promotion. Decide what you will cover honestly — including things that do not flatter the product — because that is what buys the audience.
03Build the machineCadence, expert inputs, editorial standards, a quality bar, and the platform and segmentation underneath it. Repeatability is the whole product.
04Wire it into GTMRoute the intelligence to sales, CS, and enablement in a form they will actually use, and route what they hear back into the coverage.
05Hand it overA team that can run it, a documented operating model, and reporting that ties the program to pipeline, retention, and customer education — not just opens.

“One of the most forward-thinking, strategic, and visionary leaders in digital media — and he’s still fully capable of executing operations.”
